At 16 years of age, Sam Bradford has already come so far as a whitewater paddler. Sam started paddling the Zambezi at the ripe old age of 12 and has gone from strength to strength.

I first linked up with Sam and his brother Ben in 2013 and have been proud to watch them grow as kayakers. Life on the Zambezi is always a barrel of laughs with the Bradford boys !

Sam has accomplished many of the “bucket list” items on the Zambezi including Boofing the pourover on rapid number 5 at age 14 and running the infamous rapid number 9 also at age 14. Both of these are featured in this video.

Sam has a fearless approach to big water kayaking and we are confident he is gonna go from strength to strength. He has also started crossing over to creeking and has competed in Thrombi Xfest on the Umzimkhulu river.

This is Sam’s first kayaking video but I’m sure there will be many more to follow

SO WATCH THIS SPACE !

Also check out some of his pics below !
